Diego's Gallery - Upper Lake, CA

Diego Harris is an artist who lives in Upper Lake, Lake County, California and displays and sells his art in Lake, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma counties. Some of his sculptures now, also, reside in Marin County, Sacramento, Concord, Carmel and Eureka. 

Diego has a gallery in Upper Lake, called Diego's Gallery, where he displays a variety of his art and art by his parents, Sherry and Derek Harris (aka) Rojax..

 

The sculpture to the left is called Horn Serpent and is owned by and on display at Real Goods Solar Center, 13771 S. Hwy 101, Hopland, CA, www.realgoods.com , open 10am-6pm, 7 days a week.

Diego and his mother used to be involved in local Lake County art and craft events for about 16 years and had participated in Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma art and craft events for six years. Diego's Gallery has been in business for twelve years. He is now focusing on creating and selling his large outdoor metal sculptures and continuing to keep his gallery open on weekends.

 

Diego has other types of his art on display at his gallery consisting of paintings, large black and white traditionally printed photographs, wood burned gourd art, hammered wire jewelry and other types of unusual jewelry like knotless netted stone pendants.

 

Diego has been creating and producing large welded steel outdoor public sculpture art for seven years.

 

 His mother continues to show her gourd, basket and natural jewelry art at the gallery along with teaching  classes there, too.

 

 Derek (artist name Rojax), Diego's father, is a painter. Besides his giclee prints on display at Diego's Gallery, you can see his paintings on his website www.rojaxart.com  and be able to order prints of his art on just about anything.

 

The photo below is called "The Rust Fire Tree" is now sold and located on private property in Lake County.
